Throughout his cancer journey, Nigel praised the incredible work of the NHS and its staff – and urged everyone to cherish it.
He also urged us to cherish the charities that work alongside the NHS, and in his last few weeks, Nigel was transferred to St Luke’s Hospice in Plymouth, a charity. The care they gave went far beyond the call of duty.
St Luke’s rely on public donations, having to raise over £4 million every year to continue to provide their incredible care.
If you have been moved by Nigel’s life or cancer journey, please support them in any way you can. You can donate online but there are lots of ways to help out.
In the run up to Christmas, you can donate to light a candle in tribute to Nigel and to support the work of St Luke’s.
